well comp was just ignoring the modem last time i was home, then came hopme to it reading a hd at boot and staying there lawl, any suggestions to help me gte back to the game

Zomg Dazd said something intelligent! Yea it might be an overheating problem, at least here its so mad hot that my PC sometimes crashes because of overheating.
And its probably no virus, thats just a myth from bad movies that viruses break your hardware... If you can't see anything on the screen after powerup and its not insanely hot in your room then you do have some hardware problem tho.
